This course is a modification of MATH 411, in which we shall adopt a problem solving perspective. In some sections we may do computations which implement the methods presented. The software package used will be MATLAB. Some experience with MATLAB, or some experience with programming will be helpful, but not absolutely necessary. The book A Matlab Companion for Multivariable Calculus will have all of the Matlab material needed for the course. The prepared Mfiles that accompany the book are found on my web page under Working Analysis .
