Text: Advanced Calculus
by P. M. Fitzpatrick.
Course Objective: To study single variable calculus rigorously.
Course Outline: We will cover chapters 1-9
in the text.
Exams and Assignments: There will be two midterm exams,
many homework assignments and a final exam on Wednesday, May 18 from
8 to 10 a.m.
First Hour Exam: Postponed to Wednesday March 2. Covers chapters 1-3.
Second Hour Exam: Monday, April 18. Covers chapters 4-6,
Section 7.1.
Grading: Approximately 20% homework assignments, 50% midterms
and 30% Final Exam.
