Math Department Course Outline
(Note: As of Spring 2017, the course formerly known as Math 221 became Math 121.)
Syllabus part 1: Course information page, all sections (textbook, academic honesty and grading information)
Syllabus part 2: Course schedule, Spring 2016, all sections (important dates, including exams)
IMPORTANT:
The 13th and 14th editions differ slightly. See the notes
on the course schedule.
The
e-book available in MyMathLab is the 14th
edition.
The MyMathLab
access code includes the availability of an e-text, and
is cheaper for you than purchasing the text/code bundle from the bookstore. If
you want a paper text you can either 1) use a copy from the reserve shelf in McKeldin, 2) purchasing the text/code bundle from the
bookstore, or 3) purchase a used or new copy from an outside source.
By agreement with the publisher,
the same MyMathLab code that you used in Math 120
class will also work for Math 121 or a repeat of Math 121.

All tests are in Acrobat (.pdf) format, and many print well. For ones that don’t, you can choose the “Select Image” tool, highlight each page as a block, copy it, paste it as a picture into a blank word-processing page, and print from there.
