Calculus with Analytic Geometry (6th edition) by Ellis and Gulick

Homework

As in MATH 140, homeworks are submitted online using WebAssign. They are due each Tuesday and Thursday at 8:00am, starting Sept. 2. See the course web page for more WebAssign information.

Additionally, practice problems from the book (see course web page) are assigned, but will not be collected.

Grading Policy:

There are NO MAKEUPS for exams, quizzes or WebAssign homework. Calculators are not allowed on the four exams or on the final exam.

4 Exams (Total 50%)

There will be 4 exams on Sept. 20, Oct. 15, Nov. 5, Dec. 3.

WebAssign (Total 10%)

 

Quizzes (Total 10%)

There will be a quiz every week in the discussion session. The three lowest quizzes will be dropped.

Final Exam (30%)

The final exam will cover the entire course. It will be on Dec. 13, 1:30-3:30pm (rooms will be announced).

Semester Grade

With a total percentage you will get an A, a B etc. (cutoffs may be slightly lower)
