Updates: Articles, Essays and Poems that Evoke the Memory of Shelly
Below are articles, essays and poems that are appropriate as one considers the the life of Shelly Lipsman. They help to maintain the ongoing memory of what a great lady she was. A few are written by Ron; some are by others. The appearance of new material will be announced in emails, but regular followers of this site are encouraged to check back periodically. - Here's a link to the song My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion from the movie Titanic. I used this song as the background music for the slide show of our lives together in the Photos section of these pages. Shelly was a big Titanic fan and loved the song.

- Love after Death, an excerpt from the book witten by Dr. Paul Kalanithi, a neurosurgeon, written as he battled (ultimately unsuccessfully) lung cancer.
- The End of Kaddish, by Ron Lipsman, June 19, 2016.
- Do Not Stand at my Grave and Weep, a poem by Mary Elizabeth Frye, on a web site containing similar pieces, and a variant of which was read by my son (the other one, not the one referred to in the piece above) at Shelly's Unveiling on June 5, 2016.
