  (*) Refers to a tutoring hour.

  These apply throughout the term except on holidays, times when we are traveling, or on very special situations. They end on the last day of classes.

 

• Mathematics Tutoring Room Office Hours:
  You are welcome to use those office hours of instructors from other Math 246 sections that are held in the Mathematics Tutoring Room (MTH 0301). Please check the schedule at http://www.math.umd.edu/undergraduate/resources/tutoring.shtml and look for names preceded by "246". This service begins soon after the term begins and ends on the last day of classes.
  It is run by the Department of Mathematics and is located in the basement of the Mathematics Building.
  
• Matlab tutoring:
  For MATLAB questions you should use the office hours of Matlab tutors that are held in the Parking Garage 2 WAM Lab. Please check the schedule at http://www.math.umd.edu/undergraduate/resources/tutoringmatlab.html.
  
  
• Special Math 246 Office Hours:
  • Monday, 13 September, the usual office hours of Radu Balan will be from 3:00-5:00pm in MATH 2308.
  • Monday, 27 September, the usual office hours of Radu Balan will be from 4:00-6:00pm in MATH 2308.
  • Wednesday, 20 October, 4:00pm - 5:00pm in CSIC 4131. This replaces the usual Wednesday 3.15-4.15 Wednesday afternoon office hour that day.
  • Monday, 22 November, 1:00pm - 3:00pm in CSIC 4131 replaces the 2:00-4:00 office hour
    Note the different location.
    
  • Wednesday, 24 November, 3:15-4:15pm office hour is canceled.
  These will be scheduled to cover special situations and to make-up for some regular office hours that are canceled.

  Anytime the above hours do not fit your schedule, please feel free to make an appointment with any of us. This is best done either in person or by email.
