Missing Determinants of Social Dynamics in Kinetic Models of Behavioral Systems.

Abstract:  

In this talk I will give a limited overview of the components typically found in kinetic models of biological, behavioral, and social simulations. From this overview, I will discuss the absence of three critical features — memory, confirmation bias, and path dependence — known to modify behavioral and social systems trajectories.
