Geometric correction for diffusive expansion of neutron transport equation

In this talk, we will discuss some recent progress in diffusive limit of steady neutron transport equation. A classical theory of expansion states that the solution can be approximated in L^{infty} by the leading order interior solution plus the Knudsen layer. We construct a counterexample to this result via a different boundary layer expansion with geometric correction.
