Kinetic swarming models and hydrodynamic limits

In this talk, I will discuss kinetic swarming models, from global wellposedness theory, to asymptotic behavior, as well as numerical implementations. I will also discuss a variety of hydrodynamic limits. In particular, I will focus on a rigorous derivation toward the zero inertia limit, together with an idea of designing asymptotic-preserving schemes for systems with singular limits.
