New Trends in Quantum and Classical Kinetic Equations and Related PDEsOct 6 - 8, 2016University of Wisconsin-Madison |
ABSTRACTThis workshop will bring together experts in classical and quantum kinetic theory, as well as related areas, in order to report on recent trends in the mathematical modeling, analysis, and numerical simulation of (quantum-)kinetic equations and their applications. During this conference, we will also honor the 60th birthday of Professor Peter Markowich. GOALSThe goal is to enhance research collaborations of KI-Net members and other researchers working in closely related areas of mathematical modeling, analysis, and computation of partial differential equations with emphasis on kinetic and dispersive models. A particular focus of this workshop is to reach out to several researchers which have not yet participated in Ki-Net conferences. REGISTRATION CLOSEDORGANIZERS |
